New Academic Goals

I have only one goal that I really HAVE to work on which is I have to be here on time, I get here early all the time but when my mom has the day off I don't get dropped off at the trolley station at 7:00 and get to school at 7:45, when she has the day off she sleeps in and I don't wake up and I get to school late! Even if its one day out of 2 weeks it doesn't matter I'm missing out in the warm ups and everything we do while I'm late. So now I have to really work on that goal by waking up my mom.

My second goal is to at least complete more than 7 boxes because for this report card I completed 7 boxes and my goal is to do 10 boxes :) I already finished a parenting book so I'm heading in a good start, I finished it in 3 DAYS!And I'm going to get a history book soon I'm going to be really busy from now on until October.

My social goal is to keep trying to potty train my son, he's doing good he goes potty often he is also talking more! He says everybody's name too. And he also enjoys reading books.

Commomerative Forum of The Historic Moratorium March

Question #1. I wonder how the people fought off the police brutality and racism that was going on?

Question #2. My response to what the African American veteran said is that, I think he said that because at his hood he was fighting with his own people and at Vietnam they were fighting with the wrong enemy. In Vietnam there wasn't any problem the problem was in the U.S. with the racism and inequality that was going on.

Question #3. The similar issues that should be marched are the same of racism, inequality, police brutality and the race profiling also the anti-immigrants laws.

Question #4. I enjoyed going because I saw an old teacher that I had in my old school, I didn't know he was part of the rasist Vietnam protest. I liked when a speaker said "The president is the same white system but with a brown face" he said that because many people thought that having a black president will make things better or change things but he has deported more people than the previous president. I also liked when they said "Immigrants built California, we didn't cross the border it crossed us."

Can Animals Predict Natural Disasters?

I strongly believe animals can predict natural disasters because they can detect vibrations in the earth, they're vibrations that humans aren't sensitive to. Animals have a way to sense the waves that the earth brings, and also birds can predict te weather. A retired geologist named Tim Berkland has been predicting earthquakes for 31 years. He looks through lost pet ads and he counts how many pets are lost if its more than usual then that's how he predicts a didsaster is coming because animals tend to run away or get away once its coming. For example in San Francisco the major earthquake of 6.9 57 pets went missing usually the average pets that go missing are 15. That's how he made that prediction of the 1989 San Francisco earthquake.
